Q. 1. What are the different languages that are taught at this institute?

Ans: SIFIL has both European and Asian languages. At SIFIL we offer regular courses in French, German, Spanish, Chinese and Japanese. SIFIL can offer courses in Italian and Korean on request.

Q.2. How many levels do you offer?

Ans: We offer 6 levels for all languages.

Q. 3. What is the duration of this course?

Ans. Each level is of 90 hours. (Almost 3 to 4 months.)

Q. 4. What are the minimum educational qualifications required for taking admission to these courses?

Ans. Person who has completed Higher Secondary school or who has passed H.S.C. or equivalent examination is eligible to take admission.

Q. 5. What are the batch timings?

Ans: We have different kinds of batches to suit everyone’s requirements.

Q. 6. What kind of Certification do you provide?

Ans: On successful completion of the course you would be eligible for the Symbiosis Institute of Foreign and Indian Languages Certificate.

Award of Certification is subject to
  • a) 85% attendance is mandatory
  • b) Performance in the evaluations

Q.7. Do you also train students for International Certification?

Yes. We also train our students for the international Certification exams.

Q. 8 Can we learn 2 languages at one time?

Ans. Learning a foreign language is challenging. It requires regular attendance and complete focus. We would recommend concentrating on one language at a time.
